DESCRIPTION:Aric Keith Seminar\n\n\n\n\n\nSaturday\n\n\n\nKoppojutsu and Kosshijutsu – An exploration of the differences and complementary nature of postures\, striking\, and joint manipulation from kosshijutsu (striking weak points of the body) and koppojutsu (manipulation of skeletal structure). \n\n\n\nSunday\n\n\n\nDakentaijutsu and Jutaijutsu – We will explore the striking and throwing principles of dakentaijutsu and jutaijutsu with and without weaponry. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent Cost\n\n\n\nPre-event online registration is strongly encouraged and you will receive a $20 discount for registering early. \n\n\n\nOnline fee: $230 for both days\nOn-site fee: $250 for both days \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Aric Keith\n\n\n\nAric Keith has studied Bujinkan Budo for over 30 years and has a passion for Japanese martial arts. He began his training under Bill Atkins\, one of the first non-Japanese to attain full teaching credentials in the art (Shidoshi) and a highly respected and skilled instructor. \n\n\n\nIn addition to his training with Mr. Atkins\, Aric has traveled around the world teaching and training with some of the most skilled practitioners in the Bujinkan Dojo. This has included numerous trips to Japan to train with the various Japanese shihan and the Soke of the Bujinkan martial arts\, Masaaki Hatsumi. \n\n\n\nAs an instructor\, Aric prefers practical skill-building and technique training. DESCRIPTION:TenChiJin Seminar 1\n\n\n\nFoundations of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu\n\n\n\nJoin us in Battle Ground\, WA for the first of nine seminars covering the fundamental movements and techniques of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. \n\n\n\nRegister Now\n\n\n\nThis two-day seminar with Bujinkan Daishihan Aric Keith and guest instructors is the first in a series of nine workshops dedicated to transmitting the material contained in the Ten Chi Jin Ryaku No Maki (Scrolls of Heaven\, Earth\, and Man) syllabus.  \n\n\n\nWe will present classical forms of movement and techniques as well as modern applications with drills that will help improve your skills in dynamic settings. \n\n\n\nEach day our training will begin at 9:00 am and conclude at 6:00 pm with breaks approximately every two hours. Subjects covered in this first seminar include (but not limited to): \n\n\n\n\nUkemi (breakfalls)\n\n\n\nKaiten (rolling)\n\n\n\nTaihenjutsu (body changing forms)\n\n\n\nHappo Sabaki (eight directions of movement)\n\n\n\nTaijutsu no Kamae (positioning)\n\n\n\nSuwari Gata Kihon (fundamental seated techniques)\n\n\n\n\nThis seminar will be held in Battle Ground\, WA at a private dojo location.
