Doug Beardsley
Doug Beardsley drives Blue Dragon Strategies LLC with over three decades of hands-on experience in emergency medicine and tactical instruction. He began his career as an EMT-Basic, advanced to Paramedic, and spent 33 years saving lives in critical care transport and as a Firefighter Paramedic in South Snohomish County. Doug also served as a City Police Officer in Southwest Washington, combining emergency response with real-world law enforcement experience.
As an American Heart Association Instructor, Doug teaches Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). He expands his expertise through Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC-MP) and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) courses for the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT).
Doug’s martial arts training spans Karate, Wing Chun, Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, and Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu. He leads students through practical defense instruction that blends traditional discipline with modern survival tactics. A USCCA and NRA-certified instructor, Doug delivers home-defense, firearms safety, and bushcraft training designed for both professionals and civilians.
In 2018, Doug launched Blue Dragon Strategies LLC to share his expertise through high-impact courses and tactical training. Partnering with Plumb Precision, he added Class 7 FFL services and Cerakote firearm finishing in 2024, reinforcing his commitment to excellence, safety, and innovation across the defense industry.
